What is Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional Therapy takes a holistic approach to health and wellness.

With Nutritional Therapy, there is a focus on the body as a whole, looking for root causes of imbalances and deficiencies and correcting them with proper nutrition, lifestyle changes and supplementation. During Nutritional Therapy we focus on a foundational approach to health and wellness. Those foundations are:

  • A properly prepared, nutrient dense, whole food diet

  • Digestion

  • Blood Sugar Regulation

  • Fatty Acids

  • Minerals

  • Hydration

As a Nutritional Therapist I use a wide array of tools to assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and understand how they may contribute to your symptoms and health concerns. Once these imbalances are identified, we will work together to develop an individualized plan to move you towards wellness and achieve your personal health goals. Your plan will be designed to fit you and your lifestyle, it will include moving you towards wellness and achieving your personal health goals. Your plan will be designed to fit you and your lifestyle, it will include learning how to incorporate a properly prepared, nutrient dense diet, lifestyle modifications, a focus on self-care and possibly supplementation recommendations to aid the body in healing. As a Nutritional Therapist, I do not diagnose or treat disease, what I strive to do is educate, inform and guide you on a path to wellness.

Is Nutritional Therapy Right For You?

  • Nutritional Therapy isn’t a quick fix. You need to buy in and be 100% committed to the process and the long haul.

  • Are you willing to do the work? I am here as a partner, and I take that role very seriously, but when you get home, it’s up to you to implement the changes we decide on together.

  • Are you willing to spend time in the kitchen? Because Nutritional Therapy starts with diet, spending time preparing nutrient dense meals is a must.

  • Are you willing to take some steps to reduce stress, take time for self-care and make sleep a priority?

  • Are you sick and tired of feeling sick and tired? If life is hard because you’re exhausted, your mood is down, you feel anxious, you’re not sleeping well, you feel run down, you crave all the food your know is bad for you, then Nutritional Therapy is right for you!

If you fall in the camp of being a good fit for Nutritional Therapy and you’re ready to jump in, I’m so excited and I would love to head down that road with you. I would love to hear from you and set up some time to make sure we are a good fit. Fill in the form below and I will be in touch!
